Lay Ministers

Gill Hollis. I am married to Peter and we have a daughter, Liz, who is a Vicar in Stoke-on-Trent. Peter and I have lived in Whittington all our married lives. I was licensed as  Lay Reader in 1997. My main roles at church are leading worship, preaching and leading a House Group (sometimes). In my non-church existence I am a teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages and a private primary tutor. I have just started on a long-held desire to do a Masters degree in Theology.  In my more relaxed moments I love reading, running, hillwalking and watching tennis and snooker.

Dr Trevor James. I am a ‘cradle Christian’ who was ‘called out’ to be a local minister by the St Michael-on-Greenhill congregation nearly thirty years ago. I am a Visiting Reader in the parishes of St Giles’, St Mary’s and St Bartholomew’s and am contactable via the Parish Administrator.
